On December 2nd, Myra Theresa Martin was welcomed into the world at just 26 weeks and 3 days gestation. The reason why she had to arrive so early was due to complications involving the placenta that took place from the moment it attached to her momma. Her momma had chronic hypertension that was very hard to manage during pregnancy, and then flipped into preeclampsia very quickly.
