I don't know what happened to the post I posted this morning. Long story short, Ginny visited for lunch today and we did Chinese carryout because I didn't feel able to handle eating out.
Hospice people have been wonderful, very compassionate, very caring. Nurse Melanie came today and pronounced all my vitals good. Nebulizer delivered and demonstrated for when I get short of breath as sometimes happens now on stairs. Since the treatment involves steroids, I will probably not use it until I absolutely have to. Right now, I seem to recuperate quite quickly and easily without the use of anything.
Cheryl, the lovely woman who comes in to clean my house, in addition to the usual routine got the back door curtains laundered and rehung, did two loads of laundry for me and changed the linens on my bed. She also changed the water in all the floral arrangements that my friends Bettie and Priscilla gifted me with two weeks ago! The last of the Lily buds opened yesterday--can you believe it! Also
Bettie and Priscilla, the mystery of the missing pillow case got solved! It was under the bottom sheet on my bed!
My body is tired and my spirits are strong--appropriate for this time of life I think!
