I am Shelley! Since to me all stories are love stories, I will start with love. Six years after marrying the love of my life, I was diagnosed with a menigioma, a type of brain mass. The love of those around me and an amazing medical team helped me not only survive a twelve hour brain surgery, but helped me thrive. Now four years after that initial surgery, we discovered that the mass has grown into two different areas of my brain, and two surgeries are needed at this time. The rest for now is unknown. Hence, my massive journey. There are many uncertainties, but there is one overwhelming truth-my journey will be about LOVE.
