Kelly Johnson

When I was asked to have another mammogram, then an ultra sound and finally a biopsy I was a bit concerned but took each test as it came.  Then, on Friday evening January 12th I got a call from my doctors office asking me come in the next day.   I was away for the weekend with my girlfriends; Lynne, Katie, Linda, Diane and Jeannine and I knew then that I could not wait until Tuesday to hear the news.  I called the following morning and asked the doctor to call me.  While on our hike in Scottsdale the doctor had called and delivered the news that it was intact breast cancer.  I had to catch my breath for a moment, cry for a moment and then break the news to my husband and friends.  I was in a very loving and supportive place that weekend and I thank God for that.  As I write this today, Jeff and I are seeing the surgeon this afternoon and hopefully we will know more. I will be sharing updates here so that you are all aware of what is happening.
