Preston Klug Mr. Preston

Thanks for visiting our CaringBridge site dedicated to our son Preston.  He’s an amazingly smart, funny and unbelievably great kid.  We set this site up to keep all our family and friends updated in one place.  We all appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.   

Here's how we got to where we are.  Back in March Preston came down with what we thought was a sinus infection.  After a round of antibiotics was completed he was still complaining that his sinuses on the left side of his face hurt.  On top of that his eye kept swelling.  We went back to the pediatrician for another look and he prescribed a stronger antibiotic, but told us to contact him if his eye was not better in a few days.  After seeing no progress a few days later we contacted the pediatrician who suggested a CT scan that afternoon.  In that CT Scan, they found a mass on Preston’s skull.  The rest of our journal posts here tell the rest of the story from there.
