On Saturday August 19, 2017, My daughter Morgan Maher was brought into the emergency room. A young male Morgan was hanging out with contacted her father and informed him something was wrong. Her father found her laying in a bathtub purple and unresponsive. Previous to contacting the father, the male decided to text friends asking what should he do. Per the neurologist, he waited around two hours to finally call emergency response and get her father.

After the  EMT arrived, they resuscitated her and brought her into the ER. She was constantly seizing. They moved her into ICU and placed her into a medical coma. They thought the seizures had stopped. They brought in an EEG machine that provided a better picture. The seizures never stopped. Currently, there is no brain activity. Her eyes respond to light and a cough reflex. However, these reflexive responses are lacking the cognitive function needed to sustain life. Her father and I have been faced with the difficult decision to take her off life support. As of right now, I am praying for a miracle. I will keep everyone updated.
