As many of you know, our sweet mom ("Moo" to everyone) was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last July (2016). After surgery to remove the tumor, they found it had already spread to her liver and lungs. She has been undergoing a variety of treatments, and had been doing fairly well, but the cancer has continued to grow. A little over a month ago she came down with a severe kidney infection which really set her back. However, we have been fortunate to find a clinic in Mexico that specializes in comprehensive cancer treatment, mainly through immunotherapy. Many of the therapies used here are therapies we have researched and sought out but are not available in the US. We traveled from Florida to Tijuana on Thursday and the next morning we checked her into the clinic where she immediately began receiving what seems to be excellent care. We have found that what most of the patients here have in common is that US or Canadian medicine told them "there was nothing more they could do for them". We have spoken to several patients here who have seen great improvements since being treated here and we are hoping for the same results for Moo! We are trusting that the Lord has led us to the right place and we ask for your prayers for her healing.
