Yesterday, July 31, 2021 Monica was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had been experiencing fatigue, headaches and balance and cognitive issues for nearly a month. She is currently in the hospital (St. Luke’s in Kansas City) and is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday. The tumor is located in her left temporal lobe. The surgeon will biopsy the mass on Wednesday and remove some or all of the tumor if possible.
