In March 2017, Molly was diagnosed with 3 brain tumors (gliomas) located in her brain stem. That spring she underwent a month of radiation, then followed that with chemotherapy and continues to receive a chemo infusion called Avastin. Among her cancer-related symptoms are: headaches, double vision, hearing and speech problems, loss of balance and coordination, extreme fatigue, and weakness .Molly is on many medications to try to help manage her pain and symptoms from the tumors. Since her diagnosis, Molly has been at home or at transitional care.
UPDATE
On Friday evening, September 21, 2018, Molly was welcomed into her heavenly home. She was peaceful and comfortable the entire time, and knowing she could no longer be at home to be with her family, she was ready to go to heaven. Peace be with all of us.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 29 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. 16515 Luther Way, Eden Prairie, Mn. Visitation will be immediately preceding the service at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HopeKids, www.hopekids.org or to the college savings fund for Ezekiel Brown (checks made to Waddell and Reed, Ezekiel Brown 529 in the memo or to Philip Brown).
