Misty Hamar

Thank you for visiting.  Just a quick over view and I'm sorry if I don't have specific dates.  Misty started having some pain in her pelvic area about a year ago this past July.  Thru dr visits and some physical therapy, her condition didn't improve but the pain continued to grow and get more severe.  She got an MRI in early August 2016 and that showed a very large highly aggressive tumor that measures 18 by 14 by 14 centimeters. It is connected to my pubic bone and my left hamstring and everything in between.  Her case was submitted for review at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.  Early last Sunday morning, August 21, 2016, Misty became short of breath and her husband, Jason, brought her to the ER in Philip SD and from there she was transported to Rapid City Regional via ambulance.  Testing was done while in Rapid and those results showed tumors are in both lungs, large one in the left lung.  Jason and Misty drove to Rochester Monday August 22 and she is in the process of getting further testing done.
