Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 12:35pm baby Lillian George joined her parents Benjamin and Karlee! Baby Lillian weighted 2 pounds 6 ounces at birth and was 14.7 inches long. Yes, a bit unexpected, as she entered this big world of ours at only 28 weeks...but she is feisty and has a good set of lungs!
Lillian is likely to go through normal preemie development issues and will be in the NICU until she is full term the end of March.
We thought a good way to keep our family and friends updated on Lillian’s status over the next couple of months would be by creating a CaringBridge page for her. We will post updates on Lillian and include things you might consider joining us in prayer. We value your love and your prayers.
During Lillian’s stay in NICU - visitors are limited (sometimes you may only see mom and dad but not Lillian) - any visitors must be completely healthy (NO cold or recent EXPOSURE to someone with a cold or other illnesses) - and must be quiet as she tries to get much needed shut eye! All of these are NON-NEGOTIABLE...of course during this time our primary focus is to keep Lillian healthy as well as ourselves
