Miracle Match indeed! My sister Katie is a MATCH and has bravely decided to donate part of her liver to our Mom Helen, who has been battling liver cancer for over a year. The liver transplant surgery will be at Mayo Hospital. Katie's Transplant Team will care for her during her 6 hour surgery and Helen's Transplant Team will care for her during her 8-10 hour surgery with Head Transplant Surgeon Dr. Rosen. They will both recover with their husbands by their side in the hospital. Please send all your love and prayers for these two AMAZING and STRONG women to recover and return to their families, Katie 2 year old twin boys and 4 year old daughter and Helen to her 9 grandchildren!
