Hi, this is Monnica, Minnie's daughter in law (Brent's wife). As many of you already know, Minnie has experienced several health concerns over the past year. At 86 years old, her body is just tired and not working as efficiently as it did 20 years ago. Heck, don't we all wished had the health we had 20 years ago? Being the independent, spirited red headed lady she is, she has been able to live independently up until this week.  She was taken to the Prattville Hospital Monday and released Wednesday. Apparently her existing medical conditions combined with not eating and drinking caused toxins to build up in her body which prompted the trip to the hospital. Upon release the medical professionals advised us that it would be unsafe for her to live alone any more.  She is currently living with us in our home in Senoia, Georgia. We are taking it one day at a time and look forward to seeing Minnie regain her strength and health with proper medical care and a lot of TLC. 
 I know all of Minnie's friends and family would like to keep up with her condition and progress but because her version of the story isn't always accurate (dementia) and we will be working full time and raising a 14 year old daughter, we wanted a way to keep everyone posted. I will do my very best to keep this site updated as often as possible, especially with any milestones or major changes in status. 

Visitors are welcome but we ask that we are given at least a week to get her all settled in and comfortable.  We do ask that since it is the height of cold and flu season, not to mention COVID-19 that you are have not had any symptoms of illness (fever, cough, runny nose, sneezing , sore throat) for at least 5 days. Even if you think it is just allergies. Also, if you have been exposed to anyone suspected to have  COVID-19 or had a positive COVID-19 test that you wait 14 days. Newnan is the closest city and has a large selection of hotels, shopping and restaurants.
