Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Milt went to the doctor's office on  Friday November 18th morning because he hadn’t been feeling well since Tuesday. The Dr. said he’d had a heart attack so they took him by ambulance to Froedtert. He had an EKG and it showed some areas of concern. They admitted him so he could be monitored. Shortly after getting settled in his room, he went to the bathroom and collapsed. They rushed him to imaging for a CT scan where they discovered he’d had a stroke and had a blockage in his heart which caused a blocked artery in his brain from a blood clot. The procedure went well and they cleared most of the blockage but there was one area they couldn’t get to. He went to the Neuro ICU floor and had some complications due to the stroke. The biggest complication is having a hard time talking and comprehension. He can hear and acknowledge which they’re thankful for.  The first 24 hours after the stroke are very important.
