Mike developed back problems about 4 years ago. It was discovered that he has a degenerative disc between the L4 and L5 vertabrae, causing him immense pain. Things had deteriorated so much in the last 3 - 4 months that it was basically impossible for him to do any kind of meaningful work. Through counsel and research, it appeared that the best option was to do an Artificial Disc Replacement ( ADR ). As this was not a procedure that was available in the US,  plans were made to have it done in Germany.
Many of you have contributed monetarily to his cause in the recent weeks through www.gofundme.com/kxyhk-help-mike . For this , Mike is very grateful.
He has just recently arrived in Germany together with David and Janette Swarey.   The surgery is scheduled for March 14.  We will try to keep you updated on his progress throughout the next several days.
We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
