On October 5th, 2016 Mike was in Rochester at the Mayo Clinic following up with his doctor for an unrelated medical appointment. After leaving the appointment he called the doctor's office, telling them he was going to be late for the appointment. They talked to him and told him he had already been there, and advised him to go to the emergency room at St Mary's. He showed up to the emergency room 2 hours later, alone.  The doctors in the emergency room did a CT scan, and found a ruptured 5mm brain aneurysm. That night they admitted him, and watched him closely in the neuro ICU. My aunt Ann and uncle Jim went on a hunt that night to find his truck, since it was not in the emergency room parking lot. They finally found the truck 11 blocks away, 10 floors up in a parking garage!! So, if he can find his way to the emergency room, walking, or taking a bus with a ruptured brain aneurysm, I have faith he will make a great recovery. We all just need to keep him in our thoughts and prayers, please!! -Anna
