On Friday December 16th Mike came to Essentia Health with flu like symptoms, after further tests they discovered that he had a  90% clogged vein in his heart which needed to be fixed by a stent. After the stent was put in on Saturday the 17th we thought that he has on the road to recovery but Sunday the 18th morning he was still very sick. His doctors soon discovered that his aorta had tears in it and his aortic valve was leaking. Mike was rushed into emergency surgery to try and repair his aorta. He is currently in the ICU  in critical care but is making progress everyday.
