Mike had not been feeling well for the past few weeks. He had vague symptoms at first. Then he started to notice left side weakness, which he thought was attributed to his diabetes. The Doctor agreed and started him on insulin. He also had and MRI on Thursday May 19. On Friday May 20 the Doctor called and stated that Mike had a baseball size tumor in the frontal lobe of his brain. He was immediately admitted to St. Joesph hospital. The Doctors feel this tumor is a Glioblastoma which is the most aggressive form of brain cancer. There will be a meeting on Monday May 23 to determine a treatment plan. The family appreciates you keeping Mike in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
