Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We've created it to keep friends and family updated about Mike. Get started by reading the introduction to our website, My Story.

Visit often to read the latest journal entries, visit the photo gallery, and write us a note in our guestbook.

As many of you know, Mike suffered a cerebral hemorrhage on Wed. March 2nd.  He underwent immediate surgery at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and is currently sedated in order for his brain to heal. He is on a respirator, has a drainage tube and just recently a nasal feeding tube. He is responding to his nurses commands to "move your toes", which is a very positive sign. His doctors are cautiously optimistic, but regularly remind us that "he isn't out of the woods yet." Today (Sat.) he responded to familiar voices which is very encouraging.  We would like to thank so many for their prayers, encouragement, friendship and support. We will attempt to update this site as often as possible, and thank you for your concern.
With love,
Sandy Mason (Betsy's sister and Charlie's auntie)
