Last week, Mike was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Mid January, he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Took the antibiotics prescribed but not getting any better. Follow-up visits were made which brought us to St.Marys mercy health lacks cancer center. He started chemo on Tuesday last week and it will be continual for 7 days. Today is day 5 and we have had a few hiccups in the road to recovery. Friday evening he was transferred to ICU due to problems with his breathing. Prayer is powerful so keep the prayer chain going. We hope to update daily.
