Mike Nurmikko

This is the update on Mike thus far: Liz really appreciates you reaching out and praying.

“As you know, Mike fell and had a brain bleed and needed emergency surgery yesterday. He was intubated and sedated when I saw him yesterday.
Went to the hospital today and he's still sedated. Needed to have a procedure to remove the huge amount of phlegm from his lungs. He has a partially collapsed lung, not sure how long its been a problem. Also, he has a deviated trachea. Not sure what this means yet. The blood was inside the skull but outside the brain which is great. Not sure if the bleed has stopped though.

Hoping that he'll be able to be off sedation this afternoon or tomorrow am. We're planning to go again in the am. They think he'll be in ICU another 24 to 48 hours then to a stepped down ICU unit then to in house rehab.”
