Mike is a man who loves God and his family. Mike, a man who goes to every one of his grandchildren's games and events, loves sports, peanut butter and always puts family first, has just had his world rocked.
Mike started having headaches and was shaking. He scheduled a doctor's appointment. However, prior to that appointment, he was driving one evening, and started to shake so badly, he had to pull over, thinking was having a stroke. A good samaritan who happened to be an EMT saw that Mike was having trouble and drove him to the hospital.
The cat scan revealed Mike has a Glioblastoma tumor at the frontal left of his brain. This is a rapidly growing tumor; however, doctors believe the rate of growth can be slowed with treatment. Mike will begin to have radiation treatments up to a year along with chemo in the form of a pill.
