In a nutshell, I was diagnosed with a slowly progressing and uncommon type of blood-cell cancer known as Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in December of 2015. Very few know of my almost 2 year battle but I have recently felt it was time for me to share my story with those who have not.
Through the help of bethematch.org , we were able to find a bone marrow donor and I will be receiving a Bone Marrow Transplant on 10.05.17
I enter the care of Mayo Clinic starting 09.27.17 and I invite you to follow along as I (along with my wife Ashley) will only be using this caring bridge site to journal and document my entire journey.
