Welcome to Mike’s CaringBridge website. Thank you for visiting. On September 27, Mike took an MRI to explore a small problem with the peripheral vision in his right eye. We were shocked and dismayed to learn he had a mass in the occipital lobe of his brain, which is the area mostly responsible for sight. After much excellent medical advice, research, and prayer, we decided we were supposed to be at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for his surgery to remove his tumor. His surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23. We are confident Mike is in the best hands, both in our Lord’s and the physicians’ here at Mayo. We believe in the power of prayer and in miracles. Please keep us in your thoughts and lift him up in your prayers.
