Mike's cancer journey started on December 30 when a colon mass was found during a Colonoscopy. The same day a cat scan showed the cancer was in some lymph nodes and his liver. He saw a surgeon who stated that the plan of care is chemotherapy first to shrink the cancer tumors. Then surgery to remove the cancerous mass in his colon and lymph nodes. And if there are tumors still showing up in his liver, then surgery to resect what the doctors can of the cancer in his liver or other procedures to rid his liver of the cancer if possible . And maybe more chemotherapy.
