Diagnosed with Crohn's Disease...circa 1996.
Summer of 2016 was a tough one....lot of stomach discomfort. Lost 25#'s...not in a good way though.
6/15/16: Colonoscopy...all's fine. 9/1/16: Visited my Gastroenterologist. 9/7/16am: Sent for CT Scan...infected abscess in lower right abdomen...caused by a fistula on my bowel. 9/7/16pm: Admitted to Crouse Hospital that afternoon. 9/8/16: Interventional Radiology procedure ...drainage tube and bag installed...five days in hospital. 9/20/16: Pain issues....CT Scan shows second abscess. 9/21/16: Back to Crouse Hospital to have IR install another drainage tube and bag...out patient this time. 10/6/16: CT Scan...shows infection and inflammation significantly reduced...wait a little longer for surgery. 10/24/16: Pre-Op meeting @ hospital. 10/27/16: Pre-Op meeting with surgeon. 11/7/16: Surgery @ Crouse Hospital...7:45am. (Robotic Ileal Ascending Colectomy) 11/28/16: Post-Op meeting with surgeon.
