Last Saturday our family flew to CO for a ski vacation. We took Sunday to get settled and ready for the first day of skiing. On the first run Mike took a mean spill. We are now at St Anthonys Hospital in Lakewood, CO., (just outside of Denver). He has a acetabular fracture. Www.orthoinfo.aaos.org. In other words he shattered his pelvis. Surgery will be at noon CST 12/19/2017. The Dr will attempt to reconstruct the pelvis. We couldn’t be in better hands than Dr. Desai. Will update after surgery. He is in good spirits. Still joking with the nurses and doctors.
