Welcome to Mike's CaringBridge website!   We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  


Mike was diagnosed with heart failure in August.  After three months of trying to strengthen his heart with medication, it was obvious that the medicines were not working.  The doctors have decided that a heart pump (VAD) and/or a heart transplant will be the options moving forward.  On Thursday, Nov 15th, Mike was admitted into the hospital to drain fluid and relieve pain.  During his stay in the hospital, the transplant team has been conducting the many tests they need to move forward.
This site will be updated regularly, and we hope everyone uses it to get the latest information so we focus on Mike's recovery!  We appreciate your support, prayers and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
