Mike has been diagnosed with kidney cancer with metastasis in his lungs and brain. The kidney and tumor were removed on 2/3/20. We will keep this site updated so you know how to pray. We know prayer is the most important step in this entire journey.
We are confident that God has a plan. We are relying on Him for our next breath, our next thought, our next everything because He is everything.
We continue to be overwhelmed by all of the love and encouragement from family and friends. To know so many people love us is overwhelming in the best of times. In times like this, it helps us get through the day.
Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
Thank you for your love! God is good and we choose to rejoice in Him regardless of what this journey looks like. Even when we don't see it, He is working. Even when we don't feel it, He is working, He. Never. Stops. Working! He is the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the darkness. My God, that is Who You are!!
