On December 21st, 2016, Mikayla Ann was involved in a head on collision while traveling up north with a friend and her family. Fortunately, her friend and family were okay other than some minor injuries, but Mikayla was airlifted to Children's Hospital Minneapolis and placed in a medically induced coma. She is currently in the ICU being evaluated and treated for a traumatic brain injury.
