Erin and Mike are looking for everyone’s collective good vibes and love as baby Fiona goes into surgery on Tuesday, December 12. Fiona is a strong and healthy kiddo (and just as mighty as her nickname), but she has a rare condition called craniosynostosis which causes the skull sutures to fuse prematurely, and she will need to undergo skull surgery. Luckily she will be under the care of the talented surgeons and nursing staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and is expected to make a speedy and full recovery. The next few weeks are going to be full of ups and downs as the family starts the road to Fiona’s recovery, and Erin and Mike would like to keep friends and family updated on the process. Please use this site to get updates and to share your thoughts and well-wishes as Fiona, Mike and Erin go through the healing journey together. Erin let me know that the good vibes and love have been working already, and she thanks everyone for loving their Mighty Fiona!
