I was hoping to never have to create one of these sites, especially for my baby sister.  Michelle has been experiencing stress headaches for the past two and half months.  After speaking with her doctors, an MRI was schedule.  Last Thursday they discovered a cyst and tumor in the lower left part of her brain.

Tuesday, she and her husband, Matt, met with neurosurgeon, Dr. Kent Yundt.  The doctor is confident that the tumor is non-cancerous.  However, we won't know for sure until surgery.  Surgery will be next Thursday, October 27th.  I will be making progress updates through this CaringBridge site.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

Michelle will need to be out of work for at least 2 months to recover after brain surgery.  A GoFundMe account has been setup to help Michelle and Matt take care of medical and living expenses. I know they are too humble to ask for any help.  However, Michelle is just getting off of maternity leave after having her 2nd child in June.  She no longer has paid time off to cover the recovery time.  The GoFundMe link can be found under the 'Ways to Help' icon.  There is also a link for a Meal Train.

Please send good thoughts and prayers her way.
