Michelle has been sick for almost 5 years now. Back in Feb. we decided we better go to the Mayo Clinic. They said the first opening would be August 11th. 6 months???  Ok. Here we are! In the meantime, she was told she has late stage Lyme Disease. She started the Lyme treatments and started to get her appetite back and less fatigue. Then the Mayo appt was here. We started with an Internal medicine Dr. Everything that ails you they want to know. Among other things, she mentioned how her sinuses have been a problem for quite awhile. The dr thought she should have a ct scan of her sinuses. We did that and the next day we got the results. Sinuses are just fine but they saw something not right in the brain. They wanted an MRI of the brain so we drove back for that. Well the initial results were high grade Glioblastoma. Fast growing aggresive tumor. My life sunk. Surgery was required. We now welcome Lyme. Had she not had sinus issues there wouldn't have been a ct scan.
