Michele Sonnenfeld

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement for Michele (and her sister Ruth).    Michele is battling metastasized  breast cancer diagnosed in December 2016 then broke her leg Friday Sept 20.  Michele's sister Ruth flew in from Richmond, VA to take care of Michele then broke her ankle  Monday Sept 23.  Both Michele and Ruth's breaks were severe, requiring surgery.  As of today (Saturday September 30).  Both sisters are in rehab at Consulate HealthCare here in Tallahassee.  Ruth can't have the real surgery until at least a week - her ankle was too swollen and unstable.   Michele has to delay chemo until she can manage a walker and go home.
