Michele Pollono

Our beautiful mother Michele has had a difficult week.  After visiting the emergency room because of feeling dizzy and experiencing a seizure, they discovered that our mom has 3 malignant brain tumors.  Her prognosis at this point is somewhat unknown, and a planned biopsy will reveal more, but we know that her time with us is coming to an end sooner than we would like. 

She is very much at peace with this sudden heart-breaking news, and we as her family are taking a cue from her to embrace this final part of her journey with as much grace as she is displaying. She is grateful for a life  life of love, happy memories, laughter and babies (there's nothing she loves more than holding a baby). And we want everyone to know that she is spending every waking moment recalling one of the many memories of her well-lived life. If you knew her, chances are she's recounting a moment she shared with you. 

We would like to use this site as an opportunity to share photos, stories, and memories as well as keep you all updated on her progress. Her time with us is unknown, but what we do know is that she has touched so many people throughout her life. Truly we know of no one who has opened their heart more than she. Michele never met someone she couldn't find the goodness in.

So please follow our lead and, as difficult as it might be, choose to focus on the happy times you may have shared with her. We will read her these memories as they come.
