On July 16, 2019 after two weeks of feeling ill and a multitude of tests, Michele was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. She is at home receiving scheduled chemotherapy treatments through Northwestern Hospital's Oncology Department in Chicago. Michele and her family are very hopeful she will respond well to the treatment plan. Michele has always had perfect health and is incredibly active especially with her three children, which makes this diagnosis even more upsetting. There has been an outpouring of support and love from family and friends, which is incredibly touching. We hope this site allows everyone to remain updated on Michele's situation in an efficient manner. Feel free to simply read updates or post a note on this site to be read by Michele and the family.
