Michele imprints your heart the second you meet her - beautiful, fiery and full of life. Her humorous spirit is absolutely contagious. She is a daughter, granddaughter, mother, niece, aunt, teacher, neighbor, friend to many and SO LOVED.
Her cancer journey began in March 2016, after experiencing a slight shooting pain in her left breast and noticing a tiny indention, close to where she felt the pain. She then discovered a very small lump and, being a girl of action, made an appointment right away. A mammogram did not indicate the mass but thankfully her proactive doctor ordered a biopsy which, paired with further testing revealed Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Stage 1 - not the news she was hoping to hear but thankful for early detection. After exploring all options, Michele decided a double mastectomy was the best road to complete recovery. Surgery took place April 20th.
Join her in prayer, love and support as she bravely wins this battle!!!
