In mid- June, 2018 Michele went for a routine mammogram and a lump was found. Subsequently, a biopsy and MRI was performed and the diagnosis was confirmed as stage 1,  triple negative breast cancer.    For the most part, our family medical professional, sister RN Cheryl will be providing the updates, since she knows all the jargon and can translate to plain English.  Triple negative breast cancer is an aggressive form of the disease, however it was caught early, and we are all praying for a straightforward, uneventful treatment and recovery.
