Michael Tracy

First post: Feb 2, 2017
On a Monday in mid January 2016  I went off trail in my forest to take pictures.  Heading down the Christiansen Creek ravine to view some old cedars, I slipped on some loose duft and in the process tore the quadriceps tendon off my right knee.  Thursday February 2nd I go into Virginia Mason for surgery to re-attach the tendons.  Recover is expected to take up to six months with lots of physical therapy.  During that period I will be unable to drive and limited in my movements.  Caring friends on Vashon have already started to bring meals and others would like to join a meal train.

Hopefully this website can help us coordinate visits, trips and meals.  A special thanks already to my wonderful and hear sister Kathleen who has been a superb nurse during my first ten days before surgery.  It's times like these that I am so lucky and happy to be on our wonderful isle, Vashon
