"MICHAEL SMITH"


Michael was involved in a head on collision car crash Monday evening September 11,2017. His extraction took 20 minutes at the scene on highway UU in Bowling Green Mo. He was air lifted to a Trauma 1 Hospital in St.Louis Mo. He currently is in ICU on a ventilator with serious injurious.




Michael is a fighter and we pray for him every day.




Monday September 18, 2017


Today has been one week since Michaels accident. His fever FINALLY broke through the night for the first time. (Another crumb.)

So far blood cultures have come back negative for infections. (Crumb)

Michael still has fever. Dr has ordered more blood tests.




Michael sustained serious injuries. Severe brain injury, multiple broken ribs, lacerated colon and spleen that were repaired in surgery, L4 compression fracture, right ankle broken, multiple lacerations and bruises.




Main concern at the moment is the brain injury. Dr says it will take time. We are grateful for any crumb of hope we can hold on to.




Michael is a great, polite young man that we all love!!
