So many of you know my husband Mike has been going through health issues for most of our 36 years together.  It started as a young man in his 20's and it has progressed from chronic pancreatitis, with all kinds of complications directly related to the pancreas, to liver failure.


I want everyone to know that Mike is a wonderful man.  He has loved the Lord, taken care of our family, been a strong loving father to our seven children and a grandpa to our grandchildren.  Mike has suffered throughout his life from health issues, but it has not made him a bitter man.  Quite the opposite.  He was struck by a car at 18 months old, suffered with asthma as a child, and struck by disease as a young man.  Now at only 56 years old he is facing death without a liver transplant - soon.


Mike has touched a lot of lives.  Our Creator and Heavenly Father has obviously used Mike in many lives, and has kept in alive and functioning despite disease many times when the medical doctors didn't believe that there was hope.  We are all born to die, we know that.  But Faith in God requires that we do not meekly accept this illness.  We are claiming God's promises to heal and restore Mike's health so that his remaining time on earth will be to Glorify God.


Please help us pray that the doctors will be shocked and amazed at his healing - and all to God's Glory!  I will keep everyone updated on his progress through this terribly difficult time.
