Mike Moreland

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support, prayers and words of encouragement. 
For those who don't know, on December 3rd Mike suffered a fall of 15ft while  climbing down a tree stand ladder when he was done hunting for the day. He was immediately Mercy flighted to ECMC thanks many volunteer firefighters in Ransomville who acted quickly and knew what to do.
He suffered a burst fracture in multiple vertebrae of  his lower back and severe spinal cord damage.  The following day he underwent surgery where a rod was placed to stabilize his spine, and then started rehab a few days later.
Currently he is in an intensive rehab program 6 days a week for 3 hours a day. Overall he is in very good spirits and is so positive and strong.  He has a long road of intense rehab ahead of him but is thankful for all the support he is receiving.
