In August 2019, Michael was unfortunately diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Although he battled courageously for the past year with the help of amazing doctors, nurses, and other health professionals, his illness was all too aggressive and we sadly lost him on July 31, 2020. His family and friends hope that the experience of his fight, in some small way at least, will help contribute to the medical research and advances in combatting this terrible disease.
