On Friday, 2/17/17, a car struck Mike while he was running to save Cooper, his faithful German Shepherd, who had run into traffic. Since then, Mike has undergone several surgical procedures and is in critical but stable condition. Cooper, thankfully, is fine but misses his dad.

Mike’s family drove from their home in Nebraska to Baltimore so they could with him, and have been by his side ever since then.
