Michael began to show stroke symptoms on Saturday, September 3, 2016. He had an MRI on Saturday afternoon at EJCH which they originally believed was a cystic hemangioma that had bled into his brain.  Upon review the doctors became concerned that the mass was a glioblastoma on the brain stem.   A surgical biopsy on Friday, October 7 confirmed a high grade glioblastoma.   Aggressive radiation and chemotheraphy treatment began October 17, 2016. After a valiant battle against this horrible disease, Michael was welcomed in to heaven in the morning of December 7, 2017.  Thank you for all of your prayers, love, and kindness during his valiant battle.
