As most of you are aware, Mike has recently been diagnosed with primary Liver Cancer. It started with some back pain in early 2019 which he had checked by a couple physicians and he ended up attributing to excessive golfing. In mid April the pain increased significantly and spread to his rib cage and he ended up in the emergency room in Palm Springs where the CT scan showed a large mass in his liver. After biopsy and additional scans it was determined to be primary liver cancer and has invaded several lymph nodes. We are in the process of receiving care at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and are in the hands of a wonderful team.
There are a lot of ups and downs so far with this process but know we are at the right location for care! We will keep you in the loop with any updates and continued care here. This is a great location for us to tell our story without having to relive all the details in person multiple times day.
