Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Michael was diagnosed with constrictive pericarditis, and we are gearing up for possible surgery. "Constrictive Pericarditis" is rare. What this basically means is the sack around his heart is scarred and has hardened and is not allowing the heart to function properly. The treatment for this is removal of the pericardium (the sack around the heart). Please keep our family in your prayers! We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
