On Wednesday our mom while driving her car she went into cardiac arrest , somebody called 911 , paramedics on scene within 2 minutes , She has been in critical condition in an induced coma. Because she didn't have oxygen to the brain she was put into a therapeutic hyperthermia , this is to help preserve the brain function. After 24 hours they began to slowly raise her body temperature and are slowly weening her off of the sedatives. The next step is an EEG test to see what kind of damage has been done . Yesterday evening mom opened her eyes , she would turn her head and look at us , she moved her legs. She is now sleeping again , today more tests will be done to see where she's at on prognosis . We need as many prayers going out for mom ! We can all agree she is one special lady !
