On September 22nd, 2011, I was diagnosed with Stage 1a/2b Breast Cancer. On September 26, 2011, I will have a Lumpectomy and Sentinel Node Biopsy. When I leave the hospital, it is my expectation to leave the cancer there, in the trash, where it belongs. Because I am triple negative, I will have chemotherapy to reduce the risk of any recurrence elsewhere in my body. After Chemo, I will elect to have a double mastectomy with reconstruction. My breast tried to kill me. I don't like them anymore.
February 7th will be my last chemo. I am looking forward to the day that this bullshit is in my rear view mirror. Mere
