Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support, words of hope and encouragement, but most especially we covet your prayers!

After our 20 week ultrasound, Meredith was diagnosed with a rare and complex congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS). Specifically, she has Pulmonary Atresia with Intact Ventricular Septum (PA/IVS), Tricupsid Atresia, an extremely small (almost non-existent) right ventricle, as well as complication with her coronary arteries.  Meredith's heart is very complex and very sick, while there is no cure for her heart condition, our greatest hope is that she will be a candidate for a series of 3 open heart surgeries (BT shunt, Glenn, and Fontan) and that these surgeries would prevent her from needing a heart transplant immediately after her birth.
